Chama Valley Studio Tour 2019

The Chama Valley Studio Tour is celebrating its 13th year.

Artists from Northern New Mexico open their studios to the public along highways 64 and 84 from Tierra Amarilla and Chama, NM, East up the Brazos Canyon and West to Heron Lake and Chama West. Questa is located 45 minutes north of Ghost Ranch.

The Chama Valley Studio Tour has a huge variety of art represented. Large sculptures, metal work including metal bells, knives and black smithing. Paintings in all mediums, fabric art including quilts and hand dyed, woven traditional Northern New Mexican rugs, and much more.

Communities represented are Los Ojos, Laguna Vista, Chama West, the Brazos Canyon and Chama. Over 40 artists are represented or participating.

Ride the Labor Day steam train, the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, visit the artists on the Chama Valley Studio Tour and spend a cool, refreshing weekend in Chama, NM.
