Taos Studio Tour

Each year, visitors and locals alike spend Labor Day weekend touring the studios of Taos artists.  The Tenth Annual Taos Studio Tour, September 2-4, 2017, features approximately 40 established and emerging Taos artists in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, print, glass, fiber, clay and mixed media.  Visitors can tour studios, see demonstrations, and purchase work directly from the artists.  The Tour is sponsored by the Taos Artist Organization (TAO).  Studios are open from 10-5 each day.

Tour brochures containing artist information, photos of work, and a map of studio locations will be inserted in the August 31, 2017, edition of the Taos News, and can be obtained from the Taos Visitors Center, 1139 Paseo del Pueblo Sur; Sagebrush Inn, 1508 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, and other Taos galleries and businesses.  More information on the tour is available at www.taostudiotour.org and on Facebook.

Destination: Taos, New Mexico
Taos, High-desert art colony. Taos, world-class ski resort. Taos, ancient community and land of Earthships. Taos is a place of convergence–of cultures, of opposites, of like minds and new perspectives. Nowhere else can you sample such diversity in a single town, and all within the same day. As locals will tell you, Taos truly exemplifies New Mexico’s beloved motto, “Land of Enchantment”. Here are some suggestions to enjoy what Taos has to offer:
